Utility Bills – Payment Arrangements

The City of Sutherland utility bills are coming out. We are asking residents to use the city dropbox to minimize traffic into City Hall.  We understand COVID-19 restrictions have put a strain on household finances. Payment arrangements can be made by printing a form off the city website (http://sutherlandiowa.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Payment-Agreement.pdf) or by calling City Hall. Payment arrangements can be made into four installments over the next three months. Please call City Hall with questions @ 712-446-2243.

Seasonal Park Job Opening

The City of Sutherland is taking applications for a seasonal job opening for the Park Custodian. This person will be responsible for opening and closing the shelter house and cleaning after the rentals. This position is for the spring, summer, and fall 2020 seasons. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. EOE.

Applications can be picked up at City Hall, 110 Ash St, Sutherland, IA or found on the City’s website – sutherlandiowa.com. Applications are due by noon on April 2, 2020 at City Hall.
